What 15 painted picture frames look like...

What comes before the wedding? Well the Bachelorette Party of course! My friends Brittany, Jodie, Shannon, and myself put a little Par-tay together for the bride to be in Wilmington. The girls and I ordered koozies- which have become a standard favor lately. I decided to whip up frames for everyone as well. They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

Wedding in Wilmington

One of my girlfriends from high school got married in April. She had a gorgeous wedding at Landfall in Wilmington, NC. She was a stunning bride and we all had so much fun at the wedding. We rented a beach house with 3 other couples and had a blast! Unfortunatly, the bride's husband is from the UK and currently lives there. So shortly after the wedding, Daniela moved across the Atlantic! I just can't imagine moving that far from my family and friends! I wish Daniela and Bryn the best and hope to see her when she comes home at Christmas.

To the strongest little boy...

A friend contacted me sometime back about doing canvas letters for her son's nursery. The letters turned out gorgeous and so did baby Jacob. Jacob's mom is being a pillar of strength, and I am amazed by her character. She seems so strong and so gracious for all support from the online world. Jacob has been dealt some tough cards, so please keep him and that entire family in your thoughts and prayers. Jacob, keep fighting, you'll be out of the hospital and home before you know it.

Monogram Canvases

Monograms are very popular these days. From luggage and totes to cuff links and necklaces. And now, they've made their way into the nursery. They definitely have a very classic feel to them. I love when people want they baby's monogram displayed, because after all, picking a middle name is equally as difficult and important as deciding on the first.

Most of my canvas monograms are around the 9x12 and 11x14 size. Complete with ribbon to hang. Sizes are up to you, depending on the size of wall and impact you want them to have.

Back to the land-o-blogging...

Sorry I've been MIA for 4 months. Time has a way of getting away from you when your busy! Let's see whats been going on... I turned 26, Zack turned 27, Jack and Sami turned "around" 6 and 4 respectively. We've been back and forth to Emerald Isle on weekend getaways. Finally built our shed. Got the redneck pool up and running. Had good times with our family and friends. Went to a friend's wedding and another's baby shower. Made a quick visit to Florida for my cousin's high school graduation and my mom's 50th surprise birthday party. Oh yeh and I painted. A lot. I'll try to do some re-caps over the next week as I come across some pictures. I try to photograph everything, but it doesn't always happen. Still no website updates, that my goal for the summer- is to get a jump on that. Until then, enjoy the random updates, and hopefully I'll get on the ball with all of this blogging stuff as well!
